Betallsports offers wagering on the following Basketball leagues:
- NBA (National Basketball Association)
- NCAA (College Basketball)
- WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association)
A straight bet is a wager on a particular team (side) to cover
the spread. Or a wager on the total amount of points (over/under).
In the case of a straight bet, you always risk 11 to win 10
(unless otherwise specified).

The Lakers are an 8 point favorite. The player would have to
lay $110 to win $100 or $550 to win $500, on either team.
The point spread is always given with a negative number
on the favorite and a positive number on the
underdog. If a player wagers on the favorite, that
team must win by more than the amount of the point spread. On
all straight bets, if the favorite wins exactly by the point
spread, the wager is a Push or "No Action" and all bets are
refunded.
The numbers directly under the O/U Game is referred to as the
total (over/under). Players can wager that the combined score
of both teams will be either over 194 in this example (betting
the over) or under 194 (betting the under).
- If the combined total score of both teams is over 194
(195,196,197 etc.) then the "Over" bettors will cash their
tickets.
- If the combined total score of both teams is under 194
(193,192,191 etc.) then the "Under" bettors will cash their
tickets.
Once again if the combined final score of both teams "lands"
exactly on posted total the game is considered a "push" and
all bets are refunded.
Other forms of "straight" wagers are:
1H wagers (1st half wagering)
A bettor may wager a straight "side" bet on which team will
"win" the 1st half of action.
On the total points scored in the 1st Half (over/under).
As well as on team totals (an over/under wager whereby ONLY
the total amount of points that the selected team scores is
used to determine the outcome of the wager).
Whenever placing a 1st Half wager, only the first half
of action determines the outcome of of the wager.
2H wagers (Halftime wagering)
Halftime lines are posted after completion of the 1st Half of
play.
A bettor may wager a straight "side" bet on which team will
win the 2nd Half (against the spread).
On the total points scored in the 2nd Half (over/under).
As well as on team totals (an over/under wager whereby ONLY
the total amount of points that the selected team scores is
used to determine the outcome of the wager).
Whenever placing a Halftime wager, only the second half
of action (and overtime if applicable) determines the
outcome of Halftime wagers.
Quarter wagers » Betallsports offers
1st quarter, 2nd quarter, 3rd quarter and 4th quarter wagering
on select Basketball games. When wagering on these events, only
points scored in the selected quarter count towards the outcome
of the wager. Note: Overtime does not towards the 4th quarter,
when wagering on 4th quarter sides or totals.
Note: When making a Straight Bet in any
sport, a tie is a push. Nobody wins and nobody loses, everyone's
risk is returned.
A parlay is a wager on multiple sides or totals. All your picks
in the parlay must cover the spread in order to win the parlay.
The more picks you make, the higher the payout. If you tie on
any specific game, the parlay reverts to the next lower number
of teams for payoff calculation. i.e. a 3 team parlay with 2
wins and a push is graded as a winning 2 team parlay. Important:
Betallsports does not allow the parlaying of certain conditional
wagers. Consider the following game:

Betallsports will not allow the bettor to parlay the Lakers
-8 for the game, to the Lakers -4(-120) in the 1st Half or even
the Lakers on the money line, as the events are considered directly
correlated to one another. This also applies to the Over 100
in the first half parlayed to the Over 194 for the game.
In addition Betallsports does not allow bettors to combine 1st
Half wagering with Full game wagering, a bettor may however
parlay the side to the total for either the full game or Half
wagering. i.e. :
- Lakers -8 parlayed to the Over 194.
- Lakers -4 (-120) and Over 100.
