Answers
- Why did the line change while I was making a bet?
It didn't.
However, it may change while its in your 'Wagering Ticket'. The line may
change for various reasons, none of which have anything to do with which
side you currently have in your unconfirmed wagering ticket.
The best way to make sure you get the line you want is to quickly go from
entering your wagering to 'locking it in', or choosing the 'Quick Bet' option
when selecting your wagers (note: this only works on straight bets as parlays
and teasers require the additional step of entering the amount of your wager).
This will freeze the line on every game in your wagering ticket for 30
seconds. The line cannot move once you have 'locked' your wagering
ticket.
Our lines move may move once you place the wager, but you will always
get the line that is 'locked' in place for 30 seconds. Once the 30 seconds
has elapsed, its simply a matter of authorizing the wagers again. Many times,
the lines won't have changed at all, or may have changed to benefit your
selection. [Back to top]
- What is 'Quick Bet'
Essentially, its an easy, quick way to go from wager to confirmation. When
choosing this option from the lines page, you will immediately be prompted
to authorize your wagering ticket. The line will be locked in and cannot be
changed. This only works for straight bets and any parlays or teasers you
have already entered an amount for. New parlays and teasers require the additional
step of declaring a wagering amount.
Using this option is best when you want to insure against the line moving
or you simply want to place your wager as quickly as possible, See above
for more information

- I'm confused. How do I play parlay or Teaser?
Your Wagering Ticket is divided into different sections, depending on the
type of wager(s) you are making.
In order to make a parlay, first navigate to the games you want to parlay
(they may reside on multiple screens). Simply type "parlay" into
the box under your selection (or "p" for short. Use the 'Add To
Ticket' at the bottom of the screen to place the wager into your current ticket.
You will notice in your Wagering Ticket that the games you selected are added
to a section called 'Parlay Ticket 1'. The odds are automatically calculated,
once you enter a wagering amount. You may have multiple parlay tickets, for
multiple amounts. Each parlay ticket is a completely separate wager from the
other parlay tickets. You have the ability to configure your parlays as much
as you like before finally confirming your ticket. For example, you may further
configure your parlay by:
You may also view the Parlay Guide
-- Moving Wager to a New Parlay Ticket. This will place the
wager into a separate parlay ticket, which you may add games to as well.
-- Delete Wager from the Parlay Ticket. This removes the game from
the ticket entirely
-- Move Wager to a Another Parlay Ticket. If other parlay tickets exist,
the wager can be moved from its current ticket to another.
-- Convert Wager. This will allow you to change the wager to a straight
bet (by entering a dollar amount), or convert it to a teaser.
-- Modify Parlay Amount. This simply changes the amount you are wagering
on the parlay
-- Buy Points. It is possible to buy points on some of the wagers in your
parlay ticket
-- Delete Parlay. This will completely erase the entire parlay ticket
from your wagering ticket. All the games in the parlay ticket will be removed.
By following the above directions, users will be able to take full advantage
of Betallsports.com's powerful Sportsbook software. If however, the user wants
to make one parlay wager at a time, he may simply type "p" in the
amount box of each of his selections, then click the "submit" button.
The software will automatically create a parlay ticket for those events. The
user then will simply have to select his desired amount of wager or "stake"
and confirm the wager.
If for instance the user would like to make a 3 team parlay involving different
sports, Say CFL football and NFL football, he would simply type "p"
in the box of his first NFL selection, "p" in the box of his second
NFL selection, then from the parlay ticket screen, navigate to the CFL section
and type "p" in the box of his third selection, or first CFL selection.
By then clicking on the submit box, the user will notice that all 3 games
are on one 3 team parlay ticket. He may then modify the amount of the parlay
and confirm the wager. This example holds true for any sports that are eligible
for cross team parlays.
To place a teaser wager, the user can follow either the "advanced"
instructions, and simply type "teaser" or "t" for short
instead of "p", or follow the simple instructions and again type
"teaser" or "t" for short instead of "p".
Test drive our software, by typing "guest" as the username, and
"guest" as the password, use the initials "ws" to confirm
your wagers

- What is the difference between Live In Game
Betting, and Live Interactive Wagering?
Live In Game Betting is wagering on sporting events while they are being
played, Betallsports.com will simply update the "odds" for the event,
and allow users to continue wagering "In Game" at the updated odds.
For more detailed information
on Live In Progress Wagering please consult our guide.
Live Interactive Style Wagering is an exciting unique form of wagering
on live sporting events. Interactive wagering uses a "stock market"
approach to sporting events, each team (or player for events such as golf
etc.) is treated as "stock" and users may BUY and SELL shares in
each team (or player) as they see fit.
For more detailed information on Live
Interactive Style Wagering, please consult our guide.

- How does the Approval Queue work?
A customer would simply place his "over limit" wager just as he
would any other, the software will then inform him that " Note: Wager
amount needs approval. ($500.00 is the limit) You may submit here for approval,
or modify amount to less than $500.00. The user will then click on the "submit
here" link and his wager will then be submitted in our Approval Queue,
from that page the user can check the "status" of his approval and
be notified whether or not the wager has been accepted or denied. Usually,
the wager will either be approved, or denied within seconds.

- From what I can see so far your software is very
user friendly; I'm just wondering if its TOO friendly. I noticed that to place
a wager requires initials only and no password. Now I realize you use some
type of recognition software when I enter the site, maybe its as simple as
using cookies stored on my system, I don't know. In all honesty, I'm a tad
uncomfortable with what I see. Perhaps you can clarify how you insure this
transaction is secure. I trust you can appreciate my concerns.
Of course we appreciate your concerns.
We use cookies to make it easier for the user to log on. Your password is
never stored in a cookie, however - we store an encrypted string in the cookie
in your browser which must match an encrypted string in our database before
you are allowed to log on automatically. If you like, you may leave the option
unchecked to 'remember my password when logging on' when prompted for
your password, or you may log-out permanently here
which will force the system to prompt you for your password again every time
you wish to log on.
When you send your password to our system, it is encrypted with an MD5 checksum
(assuming you have javascript turned on), and never shown in a clear text
or readable format.
If all this is psycho-techno-babble to you, then rest assured that your password
never gets sent in clear text, and it is encrypted at all times when exposed
to the network.
This is as safe as we can possibly make it, other than having your entire
betting session encrypted, which is not practical (or really necessary) for
performance reasons.
